Like both the Mandela Effect and simulation theory which both factor into its premise, rarely compelling in its concept once you get into the details of it. Worse for its constant 101-level explanations of both concepts. At times, cringey in its tech talk.
On the other hand, there is pathos here. The character relationships mostly work, even despite the plot mechanics breaking down all around them. The movie is committed to its premise. And it meets the basic requisite entertainment quality. Eh… good enough, these days.
